Ascender's fonts feature extensive character set support. The fonts are organized in the following groups:
Ascender can adapt the fonts to the specific needs of a software or hardware developer. We can modify the fonts to create the specific character set or tune the fonts for certain display or printing environments.
Note: All of these fonts are available for licensing to enterprises and software & hardware developers, but not all Non-Roman fonts are currently available for purchase/download by end-users.

Latin 1

The Latin-1 character set contains the common set of letters, numbers, accents, punctuation and symbols of the major western European languages.

WGL - pan European
|
|
|
Microsoft has defined a Pan-European character set known as WGL (Windows Glyph List). It contains characters that are required for Western, Central and Eastern European languages, and includes support for Cyrillic, Greek and Turkish. The WGL4 standard incorporates codepages 1250 (Eastern Europe), 1251 (Cyrillic), 1252 (Latin 1), 1253 (Greek) and 1254 (Turkish). WGL is comprised of approximately 653 characters and utilizes Unicode encoding.
