Description
Segoe UI is a new humanist sans-serif style designed by Steve Matteson that evokes natural, almost hand drawn letter shapes. The Segoe UI fonts have distinctive letter shapes that help the user distinguish between easily confused characters like lowercase l and uppercase I. Segoe UI has a lively true italic, not based on an obliqued or slanted regular style. The Segoe UI fonts were tuned specifically for for use as 8pt, 9pt, and 10pt under the ClearType rendering environment (Segoe UI will be included with Windows Vista and Office 2007 for User Interface use).
